Nantsuttei is one of my favorite ramen chains because of its generous portion and thick broth! It has a great aroma that comes from the heavy use of garlic oil combined with their rich pork bone broth!
Some interesting menu items that you should try include their dragon ramen and golden curry ramen! Add on an Aji Tama to make the meal more complete!
2. Afuri Ramen (阿夫利)
Operating hours: 11:00 – 20:45

Afuri Ramen is well known for its refreshing broth, and its signature item is the uncommonly heard of Yuzu Shio Ramen with no added MSG. When you’re craving for ramen but not the thick, heavy, and rich broth, Afuri would be the go-to!
Apart from their signature Yuzu Shio Ramen, try their Yuzu Tsukemen too! The dipping sauce is zingy and tart, leaving your palette feeling reinvigorated, unlike other heavy and rich ramen broths.
3. Hokkaido Ramen Santouka (山頭火)

Originating from Hokkaido, this ramen chain specializes in white tonkotsu broths. The broths stewed are rich and flavourful, coating the noodles with the pork fat, giving it a smooth texture before you slurp it down!
4. Sanpoutei Ramen (三宝亭)
Operating hours: 11:30 – 21:30
Contact: 6463 7277
Originating from Niigata since 1967, Sanpoutei’s traditional shoyu ramen is accompanied by a broth that is stewed for 6 hours with various ingredients such as sardine, chicken, vegetables, etc.
5. Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King Four Seasons (豚骨王)
My go-to at this ramen shop would be the Tonkotsu Summer and Tonkotsu King! The store provides a free flow of hard-boiled eggs and beansprouts to add to your ramen. The broth is quite salty but still manageable. I’d suggest downing more water after the meal, but otherwise still pretty flavourful and rich!

There are of course many more ramen chains out there in the Singapore market that I have yet to try, so share some of your favorite ramen places with me, so I can check them out!
